Meet the team.
Zenzo and Michelle Matoga are the founding and senior pastors of Impact Church. Since it began in 2015, Impact Church has quickly become known as a life-giving, diverse, multi-generational, fun and Bible-based church in the Greater Boston area. Impact Church is the church for your whole family including youth and college-aged young adults. Zenzo and Michelle have a deep passion to see people’s lives impacted by the power of God and to see people making an impact in life. Zenzo speaks at churches and conferences across the country, writes songs for known Christian artists from America and around the world, and is the author of three books: Acceleration, Impact ONE, and No More Idols. Michelle has a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Counseling with an emphasis on Marriage and Family. She’s passionate about seeing the whole family healthy and whole. Zenzo and Michelle have four children: Zenzo Jr., Sarah, Joshua, and Anaya. They enjoy family time and all the sports that their kids are involved in: basketball, volleyball, football, and gymnastics.
Jeffrey and Yaritza Bonaventure are thrilled to serve as your campus pastors. As individuals, they’ve each been guided by their own unique paths. However, Jeffrey and Yaritza’s journey together has been one filled with faith, love, and a deep commitment to serving God and His people. Under the leadership of Senior Pastors Zenzo and Michelle, their vision for Impact Andover is simple, yet profound: Impacting you to impact your world! The Bonaventures believe that every person has a unique purpose and calling, and they are committed to helping you discover and fulfill that calling. Whether you’re new to faith or a seasoned believer, there’s a place for you at Impact Andover. Jeffrey and Yaritza look forward to getting to know you and being a part of your spiritual growth. They are incredibly blessed to raise their six children, Emanick, Jeremiah, Scarlett, Amelia, Shiloh, and Gideon. They love to have fun and enjoy each other’s company!

John and Shannon Njoroge serve as the Andover campus associate pastors. John started his journey with the Lord in 2000 at his high school revival in Kenya. Shannon was born again at an early age and by high school, she was leading a Bible study and evangelizing at her school. The privilege to serve the region by giving many people an opportunity to hear the gospel, have an encounter with Jesus and fulfill their destiny is their greatest desire. The Njoroges have been part of Impact Church since 2018. Their lives have been significantly impacted by the messages of Pastor Zenzo and the Impact Church community. They are passionate to see many people and families have the same experience. They have the blessing of parenting their four children: Isaac, Serena, Samuel, and Rebecca. As a busy sports family, John likes to use his free time golfing or trail-walking while Shannon likes traveling, shopping, and taking walks.

We are thrilled to share some exciting news with you! This fall, a new chapter begins as we prepare to launch Impact Church Andover. After years of dreaming, praying, and planning, we are moving forward with the vision of reaching more people with the love of Jesus. This new location will allow us to expand north, welcoming even more families and individuals into our growing church community.

For the past eight and a half years, it has been our honor and privilege to serve as the senior pastors of Impact Church. As parents of four amazing children, we understand firsthand how important it is to cultivate an environment where families can grow and thrive, both at home and within the church. Our heart has always been to create a church where people from all walks of life can experience the love, joy, and grace of God in a tangible way. A place where families can grow together, where children can laugh and learn, and where everyone, regardless of their background or past, can feel at home.
Impact Church has always been a diverse community—a beautiful reflection of heaven, filled with people from every walk of life. No matter where you find yourself on your journey of faith—whether you’re seeking, have been in church your whole life, or are still wrestling with hurts, habits, and hangups—we want you to know that you are welcome here. The doors of Greater Lawrence Technical High School will soon open to our Andover community, and we would love to see you there! Join us as we teach, learn, and grow together.
